Dress to impress
No sporting event is complete without an outfit and the great news is you can do this on a budget. Wimbledon fan? Pick up a white t-shirt and shorts or go all out with a dressy number that makes you feel like Serena Williams on the centre court! Footie fan? Channel your team’s style with a dress or top or go all out with a footie kit. Pop into the centre and find your perfect pieces at our fashion stores such as New Look or Peacocks.
Drink up
What’s a day at the Tennis without Strawberries and cream? Or that Pimms? Get your drinks and food flowing by popping into the centre in advance or go for a full ‘picky bits’ spread with food like sausage rolls, satay sticks and cocktail sausages. Remember we have plenty of Cafes in the centre including Elite Bakery, Pavilion Plaza, and more where you can pick up some summery snacks. Hosting? You can’t go wrong with a BBQ, if you haven’t got your own, feel free to pick up a disposable one at Sainsburys.
Make a day of it
Whatever sporting event is happening, why not make a day of it? Get the friends and family around and host a spectacular party complete with comfy cushions and throws. Got an outdoor plan? Dress up the area with flags. Just don’t forget the footballs and tennis rackets for the little ones to enjoy. Remember, you can pick up plenty of outdoor games and sports accessories from Argos!
