How to grow your well-being
Here are a few ways to start your well-being journey…
1. Take part in Veganuary
Across the nation, people are giving up dairy, meat, and fish to mark Veganuary – a monthly initiative that encourages people to go Vegan. The great thing about this is that it gives you an opportunity to try out a different type of diet full of healthy veg, and, if you don’t like it, you can go back to normal at the end of the month. However, it’s a great way to look at introducing more fruit and veg into your lifestyle moving forward. Butternut squash soup anyone?
2. Opt into Dry January
Many of us have had a heavy December when it comes to a few too many tipples, so if you’re looking for a way to have a little detox, Dry January has your name all over it. This initiative helps people realise that they don’t have to enjoy a drink every day, with an end focus of encouraging less drinking throughout the year. Great for you if this is something you’re looking to do. Grab the 0% beers or stock up on water and see how you feel at the end of the month!
3. Enjoy Winter Walks
Another initiative that takes part in the first week of January is Winter Walks. This is to encourage people to get out and about and give them a space where they can clear their minds. Not only great for well-being but fitness too! Why not plan a route close to the centre, then pop into Plaza Cafe for a warming treat after?
